Marketing in the wine and spirits industry has long been defined by traditional standards and ideals, particularly the wine sector. Now, in the face of growing international competition, companies are straying from this traditional model and are creating original (sometimes funny, racy and inappropriate) advertising. Many of these new ads are trying to capitalize on viral trends and social media to increase their audience and sales.
We created this blog to introduce you to this new form of advertising and the growing marketing trend in the alcoholic beverage trade.

| We will start with the only guy in our group! Thibault is 22, a Capricorn from Angoulême in the Cognac region of France. It's clear that his favorite drink is cognac. And he loves to study all weekend long...NOT. |

| Then there is Pia. 24, a Scorpio from Bordeaux, she is fond of her cat. Half professional surfer, she loves Gin & Tonic parties, but don't forget the slice of cucumber. |

| Next up is Margaux, 22, a Taurus, from Sarlat, a small town in France where people eat a lot because there is nothing else to do. She also likes to drink ...even more than Pia. She loves ponies, ribbons and rainbows. |

| And then there is Astrid, 23, a Gemini from Germany she is a typical German beer drinker. She likes to cook and bakes great cakes. |

| Last but not least, there is Aliye, 26 and a Virgo. A dynamic California girl, who is all into sparkling wines, either from California, in a cocktail or of course from France. And she loves French cuisine even more than the French themselves. |
